Once a year in March people gather in Western Australian metropolitan and regional areas to celebrate the joy of cycling. During Bike Week, held from Friday 17th March to Sunday 26th March 2017, the cycling community unites and attends the many events which take place during the week. What's special about Bike Week, is that it is a jam packed community shindig that’s open to all, whether you ride a little, a lot or you haven’t been on a bike in years.

The City of Vienna will provide up to €800 in funding towards cargo bikes from March 2017. If the bikes have an electric motor, the grant increases to a total of up to €1,000. Community cargo bikes will receive even up to 100% subsidisation. More and more cities are recognising the advantages of cargo bikes for private as well as commercial use and are granting subsidies.

An exciting year of bike fairs is coming to an end. We've visited a lot of fairs and are excited to do so next year. In 2017 there are also great fairs going to take place where numerous innovative products and the must-haves of next years bike scene are going to be presented. We've created an overview, not to miss one of those events.
